Game Jam Result, Updates and Bug Fixes


It's been a while since the game jam concluded and I was really happy with the results. To be ranked #75 out of 788 entries was really an achievement for me.

Other jammers comments are mostly positive and encouraging too.  And I'm also a bit surprised seeing some youtubers posting videos of them playing my game. Thank you so much! 

With these updates, I can say that this game is finished. It's short, but I think I'm satisfied with how it turned out. 

Update and bugs fixed:

  • Changed the 'ESC' button to exit the inventory to RMB.
  • Changed the look of the Main Menu.
  • Fixed the BGM not playing bug. 
  • Fixed shader issue not showing on Build. 
  • Improved lightings.
  • Added a few events to improve story progression.
  • And some minor bugs here and there.

I'd just realized recently that the mouse sensitivity of the webGL version is higher somehow than the window version even though the setting is the same.  I tried searching for a solution for this, but I guess the easiest and less hacky way is to make a setting option, which I haven't implement in this game. So, for best experience I recommend downloading and play the window version of the game.
